Terms of use

The rules for using the SMV Labs chat. Short version: it is free, for adults, it is an AI, and your score is an estimate. Disputes go to individual arbitration.

These terms are a contract between you and Grow Labs LLC. They cover the SMV Labs chat (over iMessage, text message or @smvlabsbot on Telegram) and this website. Section 13 has a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver. Please read it. The SMV Labs iPhone app has its own separate terms.

1. Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms and our privacy policy when you text SMV Labs or use this site, and again when you reply "yes" before your photo scan. If you don't agree, don't use the chat. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and if a change is material we will tell you in the chat. Using the chat after a change means you accept it.

2. Who these terms are with

The SMV Labs chat and this website are provided by Grow Labs LLC ("we", "us"), 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901, USA. Contact: support@gotall.app.

3. Adults only

SMV Labs is only for adults and is not suitable for minors. By using it you confirm you are at least 18. If you are under 18, do not use it. If we learn you are under 18, we stop the chat and delete your answers and messages.

4. You are talking to an AI

SMV Labs is an AI, not a human. Its replies are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Do not rely on them for any important decision.

5. What your score is, and what it is not

Your SMV score, breakdown, targets and plan are automated estimates, produced by AI rating your photos and by a formula applied to your answers. They are opinions generated by software for entertainment and self-improvement ideas, not facts about your worth and not a prediction of how any person will see you. Results vary between scans and photos and may be wrong. We make no claim that the score is accurate or scientific.

6. Not professional advice, not a crisis service

SMV Labs is not a doctor, therapist, dietitian, trainer or any other licensed professional, and nothing it says is medical, psychological, nutritional, fitness or other professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, training, skin, medication or health. SMV Labs is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). If you are in danger, call 911.

7. How the chat responds to self-harm and eating disorders

If you mention suicide, self-harm or wanting to die, the chat stops the questions, replies with care, and gives you the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and the Crisis Text Line, plus 911 for emergencies. On your next message it checks in before anything else. If you mention signs of disordered eating, it suggests talking to a doctor and gives the same resources. The chat never gives advice on self-harm, extreme dieting, purging, diet pills, steroids or other drugs. We count how often these replies are sent, without names or messages, to improve them.

8. It's free; product links

The chat is free. Some product links earn us a commission (see the affiliate disclosure), and you never pay more because of it. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We don't sell, make or ship any product. Products are sold by third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them, their sites, their prices or their availability. Use any product according to its label and ask a professional if you're unsure.

9. Texting terms

  • We only text you after you text us first. We reply to your messages, and send one rescan reminder a week later only if you ask for it. Message frequency depends on how much you text.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Text STOP (or cancel, end, quit, unsubscribe) to stop all texts. Text HELP for help, or email support@gotall.app. Text reset to delete your chat and start over.
  • To keep the chat running for everyone there are daily limits on messages and scans.

10. Your photos and content

  • Only send photos of yourself. Never send photos of anyone else, and never of a minor. You confirm you have the right to send everything you send.
  • Do not send nude or sexual images, or anything illegal, hateful or harmful.
  • You keep ownership of your photos and messages. You give us permission to process them only to provide the chat to you, as described in the privacy policy. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.

11. Acceptable use and ending

Do not misuse the chat. That includes sending automated or bulk messages, trying to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer it, trying to make it produce harmful content, and using it to harass, shame or rate other people. We may limit, suspend or stop the chat for anyone, at any time, especially if they break these terms. You can stop at any time by texting stop.

12. Disclaimers, liability and indemnity

The chat and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. We do not promise any result from following the plan, including more matches, likes or dates.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Grow Labs LLC and its members, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or emotional distress, arising from the chat, this site or any product you buy through a link. Our total liability for all claims relating to them is limited to 50 US dollars.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Grow Labs LLC and its members, employees and partners from any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the chat, the content you send, or your breaking these terms or the law.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that the law where you live does not let us limit.

13. Disputes: arbitration and class action waiver

Talk to us first. Before filing a claim, email support@gotall.app with your name, the phone number or Telegram account you used, and what you want. We'll try to resolve it informally within 60 days.

Arbitration. If we can't, you and we agree that any dispute about the chat, this site or these terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (and its Mass Arbitration rules where they apply). The arbitration can be held by video or in the county where you live. For claims under 10,000 US dollars we will pay all AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

Class action and jury waiver. You and we may bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action, and both of us give up the right to a jury trial.

Opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first texting us by emailing support@gotall.app with your name, the number or Telegram account you used, and a clear statement that you opt out.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable for a particular claim or remedy (such as a request for public injunctive relief), that part is severed and that claim or remedy goes to court, after any arbitrable claims are decided, while the rest of this section still applies.

14. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state or federal courts in Delaware, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the chat. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them in a sale, merger or reorganization. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control.
